Preble County Fairgrounds 722 S. Franklin Street, Eaton, OH 45320
An all-breed dog show is a great family
event with opportunities to see dozens of breeds of dogs
and shop venders who stock a wide variety of items for exhibitors and other
dog lovers.
Fort St. Clair Kennel Club was organized in 1988 and incorporated in 1992. We are an AKC licensed club permitted to conduct events under AKC rules and regulations.
Our
members share a common interest in promoting the beauty and versatility of
purebred dogs. We conduct an AKC show weekend
each spring and provide a referral service
for anyone looking for a purebred puppy. Many of our members rescue dogs of
their breeds that enter shelters or need a new home for other reasons.
Fort St. Clair members are also dedicated to helping the local community. We have given generously to the Preble County Humane Society, and local rescue groups; donated to the Lions club pilot dog program; and provided pet oxygen masks to two local fire departments. We also donate to a county 4-H dog club that helps clean up during and after the spring show weekend and host a vaccination clinic with the humane society.
We meet the second Thursday of most months in the Eaton area. Visitors are always welcome.
